About Todd
With over 25 years of engineering and manufacturing leadership, Todd Johnson has consistently delivered operational excellence across complex, large-scale environments. He has provided direct and indirect oversight of teams exceeding 3,000 employees and has managed multi-plant operations with a focus on efficiency, compliance, and strategic growth. His expertise spans corporate governance, including remediation efforts, regulatory compliance, and successful navigation of inspections. Todd has led greenfield operations from initial startup through acquisition and has overseen capital projects ranging from $75,000 to $750 million, demonstrating a strong track record in project execution and organizational transformation.
Todd’s leadership has been instrumental in several high-impact roles throughout his career. As VP of Engineering and Operations at Point BioPharma, he led the startup of manufacturing operations, including technology transfer, product development, and compliance with government regulatory requirements. His specialized expertise in radioligand therapies played a key role in the successful transition of business and operations to Eli Lilly. Todd also managed investor and client expectations, ensuring project delivery and securing necessary funding. At Zimmer Biomet, he served as Director of Engineering and Operations, overseeing highly customized medical device manufacturing. He implemented inventory controls, enhanced quality record management, and led a full overhaul of the quality systems. As Director of Engineering and Operations at Pharmedium, Todd focused on multi-site process standardization, led cleanroom expansions for continuous line operations, and optimized cycle times in batch manufacturing environments. At Baxter, he held the role of Senior Director of Engineering and Operations, where he drove continuous improvement initiatives to enhance OEE, managed large-scale CAPEX projects, led S&OP processes, and oversaw new product introductions. He also played a pivotal role in the acquisition and integration of an aseptic filling/API facility in India. Early in his career at Abbott Laboratories, Todd served as Maintenance Manager, where he was deeply involved in navigating a consent decree and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), DMAIC, Six Sigma, and Lean methodologies to support long-term compliance and performance improvement.
Todd holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Systems from Southern Illinois University and is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt.
