We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with hands-on expertise in Ignition SCADA to support automation projects across multiple pharmaceutical manufacturing sites. The ideal candidate will deploy, configure, and optimize SCADA systems, standardize templates, and ensure integration with enterprise-level systems.

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with hands-on expertise in Ignition SCADA to support automation projects across multiple pharmaceutical manufacturing sites. The ideal candidate will deploy, configure, and optimize SCADA systems, standardize templates, and ensure integration with enterprise-level systems.
- Initial 6-month contract with potential for permanent placement for exceptional performers.
- Occasional travel may be required for site support and deployments.
- Lead and support Ignition SCADA deployments across multiple sites.
- Maintain, standardize, and optimize global SCADA templates to ensure consistency and best practices.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to develop interfaces between SCADA and enterprise systems (ERP, MES, LIMS, SQL databases).
- Develop, update, and enforce engineering standards and procedures for automation and SCADA implementations.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize SCADA systems for maximum uptime and performance.
- Provide training and support to local engineering and operations teams on SCADA best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3–5 years’ experience on pharmaceutical automation projects, with expert knowledge of Ignition SCADA.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements such as GMP and FDA.
- Proven experience deploying SCADA solutions globally and maintaining standard templates or design assets.
- Experience integrating SCADA with enterprise platforms (ERP, MES, SQL databases).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to create and maintain engineering documentation and procedures.
