The Role

The Role
This is a key position for a dynamic engineer with experience in fast-paced, multinational manufacturing environments. You will be responsible for developing, optimising, and supporting manufacturing processes from prototype stage through to full-scale production, ensuring efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement across the operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide manufacturing engineering support to production teams, customers, and suppliers.
- Plan, design, and implement new manufacturing processes that are efficient, scalable, and easy to integrate.
- Manufacture and validate prototypes, scaling successful designs into full production.
- Identify and deliver process, equipment, and method improvements to enhance quality, reduce costs, and improve delivery performance.
- Apply and maintain lean manufacturing principles, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to the development and rollout of a new ERP system.
- Maintain clear and accurate technical documentation in line with engineering standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support flexibility and innovation.
- Suggest new products or services to enhance offerings to customers.
Skills & Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 2–5 years’ experience in a manufacturing or industrial engineering role.
- Proven track record in process development, optimisation, and improvement projects.
- Experience in prototype manufacturing, testing, and validation.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles (Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher desirable).
- Hands-on experience with equipment setup, troubleshooting, and production support.
- ERP system experience; implementation experience is an advantage.
