We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Specialist to support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of MES recipes and system processes. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, safety, and operational standards while supporting manufacturing and new product introduction activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain POMSnet MES recipes and system configurations.
- Manage and implement MES system changes aligned with business and operational objectives.
- Support SAP and MES strategy implementation within manufacturing operations.
- Ensure MES processes, SOPs, policies, and training materials comply with current safety, quality, and IT standards.
- Review and manage business and system risks associated with MES and recipe changes.
- Support timely and compliant qualification of MES recipes, upgrades, and system enhancements.
- Act as local key user (LKU) for SAP and MES systems, supporting material and system queries.
- Participate in project activities from initiation through implementation to ensure system and hardware requirements are addressed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve MES, recipe, and system-related issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Prepare and present project and system status reports.
- Participate in Technical Review Boards and support identification of issues, workarounds, and system fixes.
- Support regulatory audits and inspections from authorities and customers.
- Promote a culture of right-first-time performance and continuous improvement.
- Participate in MES knowledge sharing and cross-site collaboration initiatives
- Third level qualification in Science, Engineering, IT, or a related discipline (Certificate, Diploma, or Degree).
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment (FDA/HPRA or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of cGMP and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements.
- Experience working with MES systems (POMSnet or similar platforms preferred).
- Experience supporting SAP systems is advantageous.
- Strong technical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- High level of integrity and strong work ethic.
- Demonstrated ability to drive performance improvement initiatives.
