To oversee production operations, ensuring equipment, processes, and teams deliver safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day production activities including scheduling, equipment care, and process improvement.
- Coordinate with management to meet delivery schedules and inventory targets.
- Ensure efficient use of resources (materials, equipment, people).
- Monitor and improve processes to maintain quality and reduce downtime.
- Lead and support the development, training, and performance of the production team.
- Maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Drive continuous improvement, preventative maintenance, and safe working practices.
- Promote knowledge sharing, best practices, and employee engagement.
- Achievement of output and delivery targets
- Product quality and conformance
- Equipment uptime and efficiency
- Scrap/waste reduction
- Team development and engagement
- Budget and cost control
- Degree in Engineering (preferably in Injection Moulding/Polymers) desirable.
- Strong knowledge of production processes and equipment.
- 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing/operations role.
- Proven leadership and people management skills.
- Understanding of quality systems, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement.
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
