You will play a critical role in validating both hardware and software systems, ensuring products meet rigorous quality, safety, and regulatory standards. Working closely with cross-functional engineering teams, you will contribute directly to delivering robust, reliable, and high-performance products to market.

About the Role

You will play a critical role in validating both hardware and software systems, ensuring products meet rigorous quality, safety, and regulatory standards. Working closely with cross-functional engineering teams, you will contribute directly to delivering robust, reliable, and high-performance products to market.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development, analysis, and documentation of test requirements in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Own the overall test strategy and detailed planning, ensuring full requirements traceability and risk-based coverage.
- Architect, design, and implement scalable, maintainable automated test systems using NI LabVIEW and TestStand.
- Define comprehensive test specifications, verification methodologies, and acceptance criteria for complex embedded systems.
- Lead complex troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause analysis activities across hardware and software domains.
- Drive continuous improvement of test frameworks, architecture, and engineering best practices.
- Specify, integrate, and optimize a wide range of measurement instruments and hardware interfaces.
- Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and regulatory requirements; support audits where necessary.
- Mentor and technically guide junior engineers while influencing long-term automation strategy.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in automated test development for embedded electronic products.
- Strong proficiency in NI LabVIEW (Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD) or higher certification highly desirable).
- Solid understanding of embedded systems, electronics, and measurement instrumentation.
- Experience with hardware/software interfacing protocols such as Serial, I²C, SPI, and CAN.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with automated QA tools (e.g., Selenium, Python, CLI-based tools).
- Degree in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience with TestStand, DAQ systems, or instrument control.
- Comfortable working with mains-powered products.
- Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
- Proficiency with source control systems (e.g., GitHub, Bitbucket, SourceTree).
