Position Summary:
- This a hands-on EHS Supervisor role with a strong plant floor presence.
- Leads site-level Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) execution
- Embeds safety and environmental controls into daily operations
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead site-wide execution of Health, Safety & Environmental (EHS) standards, ensuring compliance with ISO 14001/45001, maintaining strong shop-floor presence, and embedding safe practices through coaching and constructive challenge.
- Own the EHS operating rhythm, including daily management systems, action tracking, investigations, and ensuring root causes are addressed with sustainable corrective actions while monitoring and escalating risks.
- Manage EHS training and capability development by maintaining the training matrix, coordinating delivery, tracking compliance, and enabling supervisors and managers to take ownership of safety in their areas.
- Oversee environmental controls and compliance, including chemical management, waste handling, while supporting audits and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Experience in a manufacturing or operational environment
- Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to influence and communicate effectively, and a proactive approach to safety.
- Working knowledge of Environment, Health & Safety legislation and experience supporting environmental management systems.
- Third-level qualification in EHS or related field, or equivalent experience.
