R&D Program Manager
Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards (e.g., QMS, FDA, ISO).
Manage multiple projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and alignment with customer agreements.
Set up, forecast, and track projects in Oracle ERP; monitor financials for cost management and revenue recognition.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute product development, ensuring seamless handoffs to receiving teams.
Define and track KPIs, milestones, and project plans, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
Resolve project issues, manage scope changes, and implement best practices for the Program Management Office (PMO).
Support commercial teams with quoting and opportunity assessments, including on-site customer and supplier visits.
Drive adherence to Product Development Process (PDP) and Manufacturing Transfer Process (MTP).
Mentor and guide team members, including direct reports, to foster growth and collaboration.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (preferred); Master’s degree or Project Management Certification is a plus.
Experience:
7+ years in regulated environments (e.g., medical devices, pharmaceuticals, automotive, aerospace), including 3+ years in project management roles.
Skills
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Effective communicator with cross-functional collaboration experience.
Knowledge of FDA, ISO, and other regulatory systems and manufacturing processes.
Ability to travel up to 30% (domestic/international).
