This is a newly created, hands-on role for an HR professional who enjoys being visible on the production floor, partnering with operational leaders and making a real impact on employee engagement, culture and performance.

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our clients established HR team supporting a high-tech manufacturing operation in Shannon. This is a newly created, hands-on role for an HR professional who enjoys being visible on the production floor, partnering with operational leaders and making a real impact on employee engagement, culture and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day HR support and advice to employees, supervisors and managers.
- Partner with manufacturing leaders on employee relations, performance management and people issues.
- Coach supervisors and managers on employee conversations, conflict resolution and development.
- Support employee engagement, wellbeing and culture initiatives across a shift-based environment.
- Partner with recruitment on hiring, interviews, onboarding and internal career opportunities.
- Support workforce planning, talent development and succession planning.
- Ensure compliance with Irish employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Work with Health & Safety and Occupational Health teams to promote a positive working environment.
- Analyse HR metrics including absenteeism, retention and turnover to identify trends and solutions.
- Support organisational change, new systems, technology and process improvements.
About You
- 5+ years' HR Business Partner experience, ideally within manufacturing, engineering or a high-volume operational environment.
- Strong experience supporting production operatives, technicians and supervisory teams.
- Good knowledge of Irish employment legislation.
- Degree in HR, Business or a related discipline; CIPD desirable.
- Experience across employee relations, recruitment, performance and engagement.
- Strong HR systems and Excel skills; HRIS implementation experience an advantage.
- Excellent communication, influencing and relationship-building skills.
- Practical, proactive and solutions-focused approach.
