We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Office & Accounts Manager to join our team. This is a varied and hands-on role, responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting, financial administration, office management and general business operations of the organisation. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the office, maintaining accurate financial records, coordinating travel and events, supporting administrative processes and providing assistance to senior management and the wider team.
This position would suit someone who is organised, detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a busy and fast-paced environment.

This position would suit someone who is organised, detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a busy and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of office administration and facilities, including liaising with suppliers and external service providers.
- Support day-to-day accounts administration, including:
- Accounts payable
- Expense tracking
- VAT returns
- Monthly bank reconciliations
- Payroll administration
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Assist with project administration, including financial reporting requirements associated with grant and research funding.
- Liaise with the external accountant and provide administrative support throughout audit processes.
- Coordinate staff travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, transport and itineraries.
- Provide general administrative support to the wider team, helping to ensure the efficient operation of the office.
- Maintain accurate and organised filing and record-keeping systems.
- Ensure company administrative information and documentation are kept accurate and up to date.
- Assist with the coordination of meetings, events and office activities as required.
- Provide general operational and administrative support across the organisation as required.
- Undertake additional duties and responsibilities appropriate to the role to support the smooth running of the business
Essential Requirements
- A minimum of 4 years' experience in an office administration role.
- Proven experience across office management, administration and accounts support.
- Experience coordinating travel arrangements and/or events.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative and manage responsibilities effectively.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience using accounting or finance software.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines in a busy working environment.
- Full, valid driving licence is desirable but not essential.
- Applicants must be legally entitled to work full-time in the EU.
