We are seeking an experienced and driven Operations Manager to lead manufacturing and operational activities across the site. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, production performance, supply chain efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement.

We are seeking an experienced and driven Operations Manager to lead manufacturing and operational activities across the site. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, production performance, supply chain efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day manufacturing and factory operations.
- Develop and manage the Master Production Schedule in line with demand and customer requirements.
- Drive production efficiency, schedule adherence, and effective resource planning.
- Develop and manage robust S&OP processes and optimise inventory levels.
- Work closely with Engineering, Procurement, and Supply Chain to ensure production requirements are met.
- Lead Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, waste reduction, and cost optimisation.
- Maintain operational procedures, standards, and best practices.
- Lead quality investigations and corrective/preventative actions.
- Contribute to strategic business planning as part of the leadership team.
- Lead, coach, and develop production, planning, and operational teams.
- Promote accountability, employee engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a manufacturing or operations leadership role, ideally within instrumentation, electronics, medical device, precision engineering, or a similar environment.
- Strong experience in factory operations, production planning, and supply chain.
- Proven Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement experience.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production planning tools.
- Strong commercial awareness and analytical/problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
