Role Overview
Senior R&D Engineer responsible for the design, development, testing, and troubleshooting of embedded electronic products, working across hardware, firmware, and product development.

Role Overview
Senior R&D Engineer responsible for the design, development, testing, and troubleshooting of embedded electronic products, working across hardware, firmware, and product development.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop analogue and digital electronic circuits.
- Own schematic capture and PCB design.
- Develop embedded firmware for microcontroller-based systems.
- Design and perform electrical and hardware/software testing.
- Troubleshoot electronic, firmware, and integration issues.
- Evaluate new and emerging technologies for product development.
- Document and present R&D findings.
- Improve test frameworks, tools, and engineering processes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary R&D and engineering teams.
- 5+ years' experience in hardware and firmware development of embedded products.
- Strong understanding of electronics, embedded systems, and test instrumentation.
- Experience with interfaces such as I²C, SPI, CAN, and serial communications.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Degree in Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
- Altium schematic/PCB experience.
- C and Python programming.
- Experience with mains-powered products.
- Experience with GitHub, Bitbucket, or SourceTree.
