We are seeking a creative and innovative Mechanical Engineer to join a growing engineering team focused on the design and development of advanced mechanical systems for the aerospace sector. This is an exciting opportunity to work across the full product lifecycle, from initial concept and research through to manufacturing, testing, installation, and final commissioning.
The successful candidate will contribute to the development of high-performance flight control and mechanical systems for both established aviation platforms and next-generation aerospace technologies.

We are seeking a creative and innovative Mechanical Engineer to join a growing engineering team focused on the design and development of advanced mechanical systems for the aerospace sector. This is an exciting opportunity to work across the full product lifecycle, from initial concept and research through to manufacturing, testing, installation, and final commissioning.
The successful candidate will contribute to the development of high-performance flight control and mechanical systems for both established aviation platforms and next-generation aerospace technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the full product development lifecycle, including design, development, prototyping, testing, manufacturing, and implementation
- Design mechanical systems and components to meet customer and project requirements
- Produce concept and detailed engineering designs
- Conduct experiments, analyse results, and recommend design improvements
- Test and evaluate prototype and production designs
- Identify technical challenges and develop practical engineering solutions
- Assess product performance, reliability, and safety throughout development
- Modify and optimise designs to improve functionality and manufacturability
- Support project planning by assisting with budgeting, timelines, and technical scope
- Gather feedback from manufacturing, testing, and end users to support continuous improvement
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and engineering records
- Stay current with emerging technologies, engineering methods, and industry best practices
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- Experience using CAD and CAM software
- Proficiency with 2D and/or 3D design packages such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo (Pro/ENGINEER), or similar
- Knowledge of engineering simulation and analysis tools such as ANSYS or equivalent
- Familiarity with engineering and analytical software, including MATLAB, Excel, LabVIEW, or similar
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including:
- Mechanics
- Kinematics
- Thermodynamics
- Materials Science
- Manufacturing Processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Good technical report writing and documentation skills
