Job Title: Process Development Engineer
Location: Galway
Status: Permanent
Position Summary:
- The Process Development Engineer will provide hands-on engineering support to the machine assembly team, with a strong focus on enhancing manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, and reducing costs.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment, with a demonstrated ability to identify process inefficiencies, implement effective improvements, and deliver measurable cost-saving and productivity-enhancing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering support to the machine assembly team, troubleshooting production issues and implementing timely solutions to maintain production flow
- Manage documentation, presentations, and records for engineering projects
- Support machine build and assembly activities, including troubleshooting and optimization
- Identify and implement process improvements across assembly and manufacturing operations
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Experience in machine building, equipment assembly, or production line development
- Experience with ERP systems & CAD tools
- Minimum level 7 Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline
