We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Lead to join a growing Supply Chain team at a modern, purpose-built logistics facility in Shannon.
This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys leading by example while ensuring the safe, efficient and accurate operation of a busy warehouse. The successful candidate will manage a small warehouse team and play a key role in driving continuous improvement initiatives, supporting new warehouse technologies and maintaining high standards of inventory control.

This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys leading by example while ensuring the safe, efficient and accurate operation of a busy warehouse. The successful candidate will manage a small warehouse team and play a key role in driving continuous improvement initiatives, supporting new warehouse technologies and maintaining high standards of inventory control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the warehouse team.
- Oversee goods receiving, unloading, inventory transactions and stock control processes.
- Ensure all incoming goods are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy through cycle counting and stock reconciliation.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure the timely and accurate issuing of materials to manufacturing operations.
- Support the implementation of warehouse improvements, including scanning technology, lot-code traceability and inventory control systems.
- Promote compliance with company policies, procedures and operational standards.
- Champion a strong health and safety culture, ensuring safe working practices and a clean, organised warehouse environment.
- Carry out routine equipment inspections, including forklifts, and maintain warehouse security.
- Coach, support and develop warehouse team members, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.
Experience / Requirements:
- A third-level qualification in Supply Chain, Warehousing, Logistics, Inventory Management or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience managing or supervising a busy warehouse operation.
- Strong experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), barcode scanning technologies and inventory control processes.
- Experience managing lot-code traceability and maintaining high levels of stock accuracy.
- A valid forklift licence and practical material handling experience.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate, develop and lead teams in a fast-paced environment.
