Key Responsibilities:
- Report all health and safety incidents and near misses.
- Perform risk assessments to identify hazards and implement mitigation strategies.
- Investigate incidents and near misses to determine root causes and take corrective action.
- Conduct routine safety audits and inspections to maintain a safe working environment
- Delegate maintenance tasks and oversee technician workloads.
- Foster a strong safety culture within the maintenance team.
- Collaborate with technicians and engineers to reduce downtime through an escalation process.
- Communicate critical downtime events to engineering and production teams.
- Uphold 5S standards to ensure a clean and organized work environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field with a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience, or
- Trade qualification with 5+ years of engineering experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data analysis skills.
