A leading manufacturing company based in Shannon is seeking a Test & Debug Technician to join their growing team. This role is ideal for a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a background in electronics testing, repair, and inspection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work as part of the manufacturing and design team to support production and development activities.
- Conduct PCBA and full system functionality testing of electronic/electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies.
- Debug and repair PCBAs and electronic components used.
- Perform in-process inspections to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications.
- Conduct failure analysis for customer returns and production yield issues.
- Carry out NRB (Non-Recoverable Board) debugging and repairs.
- Perform soldering and related operations using hand tools and standard techniques.
- Use electronic test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.
- Interpret and work from technical drawings, schematics, and documentation.
- A Level 7 qualification (or equivalent) in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar test/debug technician role preferred.
- Strong understanding of electronic systems and testing methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
